BALOO Training
BALOO training is a Cub Scout Leadership training. When a Cub Scout Pack is participating in an outdoor activity they should have someone from thier leadership team and participating adults be trained with the BALOO ciriculum to help aide in planning, preparation, location survey and many more aspects.
Oil Patch District volutneers are puttong on the BALOO Training at Camp Jim Murray.
Out of town travellers are invited to stay the night Friday night and arrive between 6-7pm for a checkin / cracker barrel.
Check in will start Saturday morning at 8am and go through 9am. Shortly afterwards the session will start for Saturday.
Meals that will be provided include Saturday Lunch, Saturday Dinner, and Sunday Breakfast. Please bring your own snacks for throughout the day. Also, water will be available, but please bring your own water bottle / canteen.
Be prepared for chilly temperatures in Mid October in the evenings and mornings, and then warmer in the afternoons. Also bring sun protection as some of the activites and lessons will be conducted outside.
