Join us October 24th at Shadow Valley Camp Cutler.  We will be testing our pioneering and dutch oven cooking skills.  The categories will be tower, bridge, and catapult, we will be judging correct knots and lashings used along with how well they are done. 

$15 per scout, $10 per adult

Because of Department of health and other COVID related policies this is going to be a one-day event.  Troops are welcome to still rent sites at Cutler and stay for the weekend.  If you do this, you will have to follow all council and camp policies for staying at camp.

Check in for the day will be from 9am to 10am. I will be set up in Shadow Valley, most likely close to the lodge that is there. 

Please register before the event and pay online, this is honestly just to make my life easier and check in to go faster. Online registration will close on Oct. 21st, this way it gives the host Troop time to plan.

Troops will be given an area to they can use for their pioneering projects that day.  Based on current rules we are asking Troops to stay within in their area and not venturing into another Troop’s workspace.

If units are camping for the weekend, please use the latrines in your site. There are a few latrines down in Shadow Valley, but they will need to have some sort of disinfecting throughout the day. I am asking for people that can just help out with that.

We will split the building time into 3 different sections.  from 10am to Noon is Tower Building, 1pm to 3pm is Bridge Building, and 3:30pm to 5:30pm is Catapult building.

You will need to bring your own lunch, also there are some poles in shadow valley that can be used, but please plan on bringing the building materials you will need
