Event Details

Fourth Annual Pinstravapaloopsa 2025 at Camp Cutler

When: 9/26/25 - 9/28/25 (Friday and Saturday night camping are optional and separate from the event, but highly recomended for Webelos and AOL)

Where: Camp Cutler in Naples, NY

Why: Crossover program to earn pins for advancement and practice tent camping for Scouts BSA.

How: Please register on 247scouting.com

"Pinstravapalooza" is the rebranding and expansion of our time honored Webelosree event held at former BSA Camp Babcock-Hovey. What was once reserved for Webelos and AOL Cubs is now open to ALL CUB RANKS as the Camp Legends and CSAC Staff join forces to provide an AMAZING weekend of camping fun, advancement activities, and core BSA programs like climbing, fishing, shooting sports, and nature.

This event is a great opportunity to introduce Lion-Tiger Cubs to camp and for Wolf-AOL Cubs to complete multiple adventure pins for rank advancement and crossing over into Scouts.  Cubs can attend for the day on Saturday, spend 1-2 nights camping in tents or lean-tos, OR book a themed building or pod by contacting Liane Richardson at the Council office. Be sure to book early as sites and buildings will fill up fast!

See below for availability: All can be reserved via the Cutler Reservation System or by calling the Council office.

  • Tent and Lean-to Sites
  • Maxion
  • Castle and Pods
  • Fort and Pods
  • Lighthouse and Pods
  • Walmsey Sawyer
  • Winter Building

The following locations are reserved for staff and event programming and cannot be rented:

  • Amy Jenkins: Reserved for Staff
  • Cohn North and South: Reserved for Staff and Programs
  • Leo Lodge: Reserved for Staff and Programs
  • Longhouse: Reserved for Programs

Choose your adventures and select your favorite core BSA programs as part of registration to build your own custom schedule just like the Scouts do for Massawepie summer camp! Most Cubs can earn 3-5 pins on Saturday and those who sacrifice a Core BSA program or two can earn up to 7!

Pack a lunch and eat together in the dining hall for the full experience with songs sung by staff OR pick your favorite spot in camp and have a picnic with your den or pack. Troop 44 will be selling Pulled-Pork Sandwitches and Corn on the Cobb as a fundraiser so bring your cash! $4 per Sandwitch, $2 per ear of corn.

Core Programs Offered 2025: BB Gun, Monkey Bridge, Fishing, Gaga, Sling Shot, Archery, and Action Archery!

Advancement Offered 2025: AOL "Outdoor Adventurer", Bear Habitat, Bear-Webelos "Build It", Lion-AOL "Aware and Care", Lion-AOL "Family and Reverence", Lion-AOL "Rockets", Lion-Tiger "Personal Fitness", Wolf-Webelos "Personal Fitness", Lion-Wolf "Let's Camp", Lion-Wolf "Outdoors", Bear-AOL "Webelos Walkabout"

Webelos and AOL Cubs should plan on pitching their own tents or staying in lean-tos and helping to plan and prepare their own meals in true pack-in-pack-out style. The overnight campout is optional except when requred for adventures such as Outdoor Adventurer. Build your own shelter and spend the night in it to fulfill your requirements AND get a special award from Camp Director Gopher!
