This is a youth oriented program that incorporates much of the CWLT training along with its own specific modules and some high adventure program. It is split into 2 weekends with the first being a one day classroom style training and then an outdoor experience the following weekend.

Okpik training consists of two parts:

Classroom Session – January 10, 2027 from 9am – 3pm, at the Southern Tier Service Center (2150 NY-12, Binghamton, NY 13901)  Lunch is included.

Outdoor Session – Friday-Monday, January 15 – 18, 2027 at Pines Camp, Highland Forest, Fabius, NY.  Arrive: 5pm on Friday. Depart: Noon on Monday.

Note: Registration for the Classroom Session registers you for both sessions

Upon successful completion of the outdoor session, participants receive: Okpik Patch and Okpik Completion Certificate
