Massawepie Outdoor Challenges: 12th Arctic Challenge

Event Details

​Unit Must have full AB Medical Forms for all youth and Adults attending the event. All attendees should be prepared for Subzero Temperatures.

All Participants, Youth and Adult Must be Registered members of Scouting America

Where: Massawepie Scout Camps

When: January 17-20, 2024 - Martin Luther King Day Weekend.

What: Stay at Massawepie and experience the Adirondacks in the winter. Stay in the heated Gannett and Keymell Lodge or bring your cold weather gear and give the Voyageur lean-to a try. Guided activities will be planned for the entire weekend. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in any and all events that they are interested in.                                                                 

Weekend fee is $100.00 per person (Scouts and Adults) by January 4, 2025 and will increase $125.00 per person as of January 5, 2024.

The fee includes:

  • Lodging,
  • meals (Saturday breakfast thru Monday Breakfast),
  • activities
  • one ticket to the Wild Center,
  • gift
  • all other activities throughout the weekend.
  • Transportation not provided.    

Space is limited to 55 Scouts and 20 leaders.
