Fiscal Management Training

Fiscal Management is taught by subject matter experts. This course is designed to give council employees and volunteers a greater understanding of the fiscal management and administratve processes of a local council. The greatest benefit from this course occurs when a Scout Executive and Accounting Specialist, as well as their Council Treasurer or other finance volunteers attend together. Due to changes in administratve and accountng requirements of not-for-profit organizatons, partcipaton in the course is suggested at least every three years.

Program Content: Understanding financial statements, Budgeting, Financial analysis, Fiscal resources
Fiscal Management will be held at the Seneca Waterways Council office (2320 Brighton-Henrietta Townline Rd. Rochester, NY, 14623)
This course will be held on August 25 (Tuesday) starting at 12:00pm and ending on August 27 (Thursday) at 12:00pm.
The cost of the Fiscal Management will be $275.00 per participant.
Course will provide snacks and beverages including lunch on Wednesday. Lunch is not provided on Tuesday and Thursday, so plan ahead.
Sessions are planned to end on Tuesday and Wednesday by 5:00pm.
Those travelling out of council in need of overnight accomadations, there are several hotel options near by the Seneca Waterways Council office location on Jefferson St, West Henrietta, NY.
