Camp Cutler Cast Iron Chef Weekend

Ahh, November camping! The air is crisp, the woods are open and hot meals cooked over the camp fire or hot coals always taste delicious! Come Camp at Camp Cutler for the weekend to enjoy the late fall weather, show off your unit’s cooking skills and learn from other units and scouters about the unlimited opportunities for camp cooking. You can visit unit camp sites to view cooking skills and visit a camp cooking midway for more learning and perhaps a little sampling! Check out treats like Trash Can Turkey, Dutch oven Cobbler, Stews, Brownies and more! No registration cost for this “Themed” weekend.

• While at camp you can participate in activities such as:

• Archery – Weather dependent

• Sling Shots – Weather dependent

• Fishing

• Hiking

• Disc Golf

• GAGA ball

• Camping is on your own and is done from Friday night to Saturday or Saturday night to Sunday.

• Visit Campsite cooking demo’s from 12-3 PM Saturday

• Visit the Cast Iron Chef Midway (by the Trading Post) from 10 AM – 1 PM

• See you at Camp!

Even though there is no formal program or fee we would appreciate registering if you plan to visit for the day or camping just so we have an idea of how many will be there. Thanks.
