Derby Time!

Get ready for one of the most exciting events of the year!

The 2026 Seneca Waterways Council Pinewood Derby is racing into Eastview Mall on:
Saturday, May 9th

Hosted in front of the old Lord & Taylor

Who Can Race?
Scouts who qualified at their District Pinewood Derby are eligible to compete—bring your fastest car and your competitive spirit!

Note: If one of the top three finishers is unable to attend, 4th and 5th place racers will be invited as alternates. Please expect email communication if this applies to you.

Race Day Details

Check-in begins at 10:00 AM (firm)

First race starts promptly at 11:00 AM

Full race schedule is available in the attachments- IT IS CRITICAL TO REVIEW THIS PRIOR TO RACE DAY!!!!!!!

Can’t Make It in Person?
We’ve got you covered! Proxy racing is available for Scouts with extenuating circumstances.

Bring a Friend!
Each race will feature an opportunity for non-Scouts to build and race their own Pinewood Derby car.
Encourage your racers to invite a buddy and share the excitement!
