About Mr. Leigh Rubin:
Mr. Rubin, creator of the syndicated comic strip Rube, designed a special patch for Seneca Waterways Council, BSA to highlight their virtual council events. Each Scout that registers to attend this special virtual presentation will have a patch designed by Mr. Rubin mailed to them. (Patches will be mailed after June 1, 2020.)

Collaboration between Mr. Leigh Rubin and Mrs. Melissa Burke, Art merit badge counselor, is aimed at helping Scouts taking Art merit badge complete requirement # 6:

"With your parent's permission and your counselor's approval, visit a museum, art exhibit, art gallery, artists' co-op, or artist's workshop. Find out about the art displayed or created there. Discuss what you learn with your counselor."
