Learn How to Get Your Story Covered by the Local Media

Have you ever wanted to get more publicity for your unit or district? Learn how on Saturday, February 12 from 9 to 10 am at the Seneca Waterways Council office on Brighton-Henrietta Road. We will conduct a free publicity and media relations training session for all interested Scouters. The session will help you identify the types of stories that media likes, the most compelling angles for those stories and who to contact to place those stories – everything you will need to know to get your story covered by the media. And, we will announce an all-new unit marketing award at that meeting.
