What time frames should we consider for travel and logistics?

The Trek program begins on Sunday at 10am and formally concludes Friday late afternoon. Crews are encouraged to stay Friday evening in basecamp and depart Saturday after breakfast. Note that most treks will depart camp late afternoon on Sunday after mandatory pre-trek preparations. Most crews arrive Saturday evening to avoid a late start on Sunday morning. Greater detail on this will be communicated with you before you arrive at camp via the Trek Director.

What trek routes are available?

On our website you'll find a list of our available trek routes along with a link to a map for each. (Trek Routes and Maps). Once we know your crew's goals we can make specific recommendations for you to present to your crew(s). Within one week of registration you should expect an email from our Trek Director to begin determining which style of trek and specific route will give your crew an unforgettable adventure!

Please keep in mind that we aim to abide by Leave No Trace Ethics and spread our impact around the Adirondack Park as best we can. As such it is our policy to not send two crews on the same geographic route in a given week.

Final Notes:

Be sure to check out our website which has lots of information including a Crew Leader's Guide, Food Accommodation Request, Required NYS Forms, Food Menu (released in April), Swim Test information and more!
