2021 Cub Scout Resident Camp

Tell your story with the CRC staff as we explore the many ways stories are told this year at Cub Resident Camp! Enjoy all of your favorite programs like Nature, Archery I and II, BB Guns, Swimming, Cooking, Crafts, Bouldering, Gaga, Fishing, Battle Boats, and the Rope Bridge!

Fill up on delicious and nutritious meals expertly crafted by our kitchen staff and visit the Trading Post for Slushies or ice cream treats on those hot summer days. Cool off at our new misting station and then sing songs and tell stories around your own campfires at night.

When you are good and tired (a nightly guarantee), snuggle into your nice warm sleeping bags on soft cots in real canvas boy scout tents, or use our camp lean-to's for a new experience. You can even bring your own tent if you want and pitch it in your site!

Spend three days and two nights at Cub Resident Camp having fun and exciting adventures at camp! Babcock-Hovey is a beautiful camp on Seneca Lake. It offers a multitude of opportunities to view nature at its best. The staff at Hovey are kid-oriented, creative, and caring scouters who work year long to bring your cub an unforgettable time.

Lions, Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos, and AOLs can attend the camp. Each cub will receive a free camp patch. A parent can accompany a scout and vicariously experience the joys of childhood fun. Any camper can purchase a shirt from council, bring your own custom shirts, or choose not to purchase shirts at all (they are not required to attend camp).

WHO: Cub Scouts of all ranks are welcome!  Come as a Pack, or just you and your Son or Daughter. Provisional campers are always welcome.

WHEN: Session 1 is August 8-10 2021

             Session 2 is August 12-14 2021

WHERE: Camp Babcock-Hovey, Ovid NY

WHY: To experience the fun and excitement of scouting, earn achievements, and make new Cub Scout friends.

HOW MUCH:   

• Regular rate - $225
• Early Bird Rate - $195

Cub Scout Leaders please take note of the following dates:

1) Site Deposits: $50 due at registration

2) Camp Fees:

• Camper Deposits must be paid in full by May 1, 2021
• Early Bird Fee must be paid in full by June 15, 2021
• Scouts who missed Early Bird deadline must have fees paid in full by August 1, 2021
• Youth who have joined scouting in the Spring (Feb-June) are Eligible for early bird rates. Be sure to select "New Scout in Spring".
