Event Details

This training course prepares participants to identify and address medical issues that can arise in the backcountry and in urban areas during hurricanes, floods, fires, or mass cauality events when emergency services might be strained.
This course is required to attend all four of the National High Adventure Bases, and is highly reccommended for any unit activities further than one hour away from Emergency Medical Services.
Lunch will be provided.
Course Prerequisites:
- Current Adult CPR/AED Certification
- An eight-hour online course (provided approximately two weeks prior to the in-person course)
