This training is intended to provide Cubmasters, Assistant Cubmasters, Den Leaders, and Assistant Den Leaders with the information and tools they need to conduct a successful program.

Cub Scout Leaders who complete Position-Specific Training and Hazardous Weather Training are considered "trained" for those positions. Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) is also highly reccomended, and mandatory for a minimum of one leader on a Pack/Den campout.

Hazardous Weather Training must be renewed every two years. It can be completed online in the Scouting America Learn Center at: training.scouting.org/courses/SCO_800
