Small Boat Sailing Merit Badge

Sailing is one of the most enjoyable pastimes on the open water. The quiet and peacefulness of the water can provide a pleasant break from everyday life. However, smooth sailing requires paying careful attention to safety. Learn how to be safe and have fun in this class.

Sessions (attendance at both required):

Friday, June 20, 6-9PM, Buffalo Service Center, 2860 Genesee Street

Saturday, June 21, 8:30-4PM, Camp Scouthaven

Cost: $20

Limit of 18 Scouts!

This is a full uniform event both days, Saturday: must bring Swim Suit, water shoes, sun screen, hat, Towel & Bag Lunch with copy of Health Form (you will get wet)

Must be a Blue Swimmer

You will need your BSA ID number when registering. This can be found at my.scouting.org in the roster or under your profile in Scoutbook.

Please remember to have Scoutmaster/Advisor/Skipper approval before registering for the class. After the class is over, advancement will be uploaded by the Council into Scoutbook records.
