All proceeds from the Confer Classic will benefit an organization near and dear to the Confer family’s hearts: Scouting America.

The local scout council – the Great Falls Council – serves 5,300 cub scouts, scouts, and explorers across Western NY, Central NY, and Northern PA.

Among its properties is Camp Sam Wood in Pike, NY. That camp is seeing construction of a pavilion for nature education being named in honor of Dave Hawley, who passed away in 2023 at 82 years of age. As a volunteer, Dave served Scouting his entire adult life! All proceeds from this year’s Confer Classic are earmarked for the pavilion.    

Held every year since 2016 (except for the pandemic year of 2020), the Classic and its golfers and sponsors have amassed $156,000 in profits  donated to the Scouts. In 2024, the event brought in a whopping $27,000 in profits!

The course is an attractive destination that is surrounded by serene woodlots, dotted with ponds, and home to Eighteenmile Creek.
Enjoyed by seasoned golfers as well as beginners, Willowbrook golf course offers a relaxing yet challenging 27-hole golf course in the heart of beautiful Niagara County. 

This will be a 4-person scramble 

Golf/sponsor fees includes: Green fees, cart fees, lunch, beer or soda at the turn, steak dinner and a small bucket of range balls.

Prizes will be awarded to the First to Sixth place teams –giving everyone a chance!

The raffle that accompanies the Classic is HUGE, so big it’s open to the public, too! There are many awesome prizes to bid on, so bring plenty of  cash and get to the clubhouse early to bid!
