COUNCIL VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION BANQUET
AND ANNUAL COUNCIL BOARD MEETING

Please join us to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our Great Falls Council volunteers as we recognize the 2025 Silver Beaver recipients and other great Scout leaders and youth.
Help us to recognize those men and women whose dedicated service has kept bright the flame of Scouting as the evening includes the presentation of the Honored Silver Beaver Award, and other awards.
Recognition Applications/Submissions: (Due by March 28th)
Submitting: All completed applications can be either mailed into the Buffalo Service Center c/o Bob Blatz - (name of the award) or emailed to Bob Blatz.

Elbert K. Fretwell Outstanding Educator Award:
This award is presented to educators who help deliver Scouting's mission by modeling and teaching Scouting values. It is open to teachers, school staff members, and administrators who are great examples for students and who teach students to make good choices. Click here to download the application.
Whitney M. Young Jr. Service Award:
This award recognizes outstanding service by an adult or an organization for demonstrated involvement in the development and implementation of Scouting opportunities for youth from rural or low-income urban backgrounds. Anyone may nominate a deserving registered Scouter. An application form is available from scouting.org.
These awards are presented to youth and adults who have performed an attempt to save a life or to recognize notable acts of service that put into practice Scouting skills and/or ideals.
Veteran Award:
After five years of registered service in Scouting America, an adult may receive the designation of “Veteran,” provided the person agrees to live up to Scouting obligations; to keep local Scouting informed as to availability for service; and further, to be as active in the promotion of the cause of Scouting as circumstances and conditions permit.
