OA Lodge Leadership Development Weekend - Gorton

Order of the Arrow Lodge Leadership Development

Lodge Leadership Development is the primary training program for our lodge, providing lodge and chapter leadership with the skills needed to plan and run successful lodge and chapter programs. The LLD program is designed to equip our lodge with the tools to stimulate creative ideas and develop lasting solutions that will enable and enhance growth.

We will be staying in the wonderful cabins at Camp Gorton and we will offering great training classes and fellowship. The flush toilets and shower will be available.

We will be holding the last brotherhood conversion opportunity for the year at camp and we need at least 25 more youth to convert to brotherhood for our Lodge Performance Measurement Program (PMP), we need more adults to convert as well!!!!

This weekend is also our annual leadership elections for the 2026 lodge year.

Positions available for elections are:

  • Lodge Chief
  • Lodge Vice Chief of Administration
  • Lodge Vice Chief of Program
  • Lodge Secretary
  • Hidden Lanterns Chapter Chief
  • Ontario Chapter Chief
  • Rising Skies Chapter Chief
  • Southern Hills Chapter Chief

If you are interested in running for a position you are required to fill out an Annual duties and responsibilities agreement and return it to the Lodge adviser before the elections happen. You can find this form on the lodge website or included on the registration page.

The cost of the event is $15 and registration is open. Registration late fee starts at 11:59 pm on 10-31-25 and the price will be $30 and registration closes at 11:59pm on 11-11-25. There will be no walk ins allowed!!!!

 

We have reserved enough cabin space for 90 people, we will have a wait list and if there are people on it and there are cabins available will try to reserve them.
