Five Rivers Council Annual Meeting

The purpose of the Five Rivers Council Annual Meeting is to receive the annual reports of the Executive Board; elect Members-at-Large, National Council members, regular members of the Executive Board; receive and approve the most recent fiscal year financial statements; and such other business as may come before the meeting.
Per our Bylaws, Chartered Organization Representatives, Council Members-at-Large and Executive Board members are voting members of the Council. Business conducted at the Annual Meeting must be voted on by a quorum of one-tenth of the active members; the Bylaws do not permit proxy votes. Your attendance and vote are important.
A key item of the agenda is the annual election of Council Members-at-Large and Council Executive Board members for the coming term of service. All Chartered Organization Representative, Council Members at Large, and Executive Board Members have the right to submit the names of candidates for Council Member at Large and Council Executive Board Member to the council Nominating committee. To be eligible for election to the Executive Board an individual must either be a Chartered Organization Representative or be first elected as a Council Member-at-Large.
To submit a name for consideration please email their name, contact information, a brief biography, and description of why you believe they would be an asset to the council and Executive Board directly to a member of the Nominating Committee.
