ISLAND ADVENTURES

 

Day Camp is an adventure open to all Cub Scouts. Sessions run Monday through Friday. Scouts will participate in a wide variety of activities including games, crafts, BB Gun Safety, Archery Shooting, STEM and swimming. Day Camp is more fun when you come with your Pack, so start planning now for next summer’s adventure!

Youth going into grades 1st - 5th for the next school year and not registered in the Scouting program can attend Day Camp.

If the child is going into the 1st Grade, they must have an adult with them at all times.

 

 

TIGERS: Must have a parent/guardian attend with them.

Medical Form: Must be completed and submitted by the first day of camp. Your Scout can NOT attend without a completed medical form.

Camperships:

If you are in need of a campership they can be completed online by clicking here or download and fill out an application. All submissions must be received by May 1st. NOTE: When filling out the campership please use the Scouts registered name (i.e. DJ is registered as Dylan Johnson).

Fees: Include T-Shirt and Draw String Bag

Early Bird: if paid in full by May 15th, 2022

Scouter: $135

Non Registerd Youth: $160

Regular Fee: if paid in full by June 1st, 2022

Scouter: $160

Non Registered Youth: $190

Late Fee:  if paid after June 1st, 2022

Scouter: $185

Non Registered Youth: $210

If you attend BOTH Day Camp and Cub Adventure Camp you will get $30 refunded to you after attending both.

All attendees will be required to bring their own snacks & lunch. During the current times we cannot provide them

Advancement Opportunities:

Your Scout may have the opportunity to earn a vairety of rank specific advancement. This may also include partials in some areas.

Look in the attachements section to see what advancement opportunities are available.

Help Needed:

This is run by all volunteers. Please consider helping out. We have a wide variety of areas that can use your help: Registration, Den Walkers, Stations and more. We are flexible to your days. Even if you can't do the full week please consider volunteering for a few days. You can notify us during the registration process.

Cub Scout Shooting Sports Rangemaster Training

We are looking for volunteers to run our shooting range. If you are interested you need to take this training.

For BB Guns, Archery and Sling Shots, this also Includes the Portable BB-gun Range & the New Hoover Archery Range

2 Training Dates Available in 2022
Sunday, April 24th, 1 to 5 pm at Camp Gorton

Saturday, May 22nd, 1 to 5 pm at Camp Gorton

Cost to become certified as a Cub Scout Shooting Sports Rangemaster is just $10.00.
Cub Scout Day Camp Range Officer - Must be 18 or older and certified before camp begins.
