Skeet Tournament - Sat., Jan, 30, 2021

 

Skeet Tournament:   

The tournament consists of 25 target rounds from eight different stations on the skeet field at Camp Gorton.  Maximum of 5 individual shooters or a  squad will occupy the stations on the skeet field at the same time.

Cost:

$50 per Person - 5 Individual Registrations per ½ hour Time Period = a “Squad”. A Squad is NOT a Team!

Registration:

Pre - Registration for a Shooting Time is on-line ONLY!

  • Walk-ins Accepted from 8:30 to 9:00 am on the day of the tournament.
  • Shooting Times are on the ½ Hour starting at 9 am

 Check - In:

Check-in at HQ building next to Parking Lot ½ Hour BEFORE your Shoot Time.

Miss your shoot time; go to the end of the line.  A shuttle takes you to the range.

 

Deadline:              

Midnight on Friday, January 20th!

Ammo & Gun: 

Bring Your Own Ammo with shot size of #8 or #9 & your own Shotgun

Eye & Ear Protection:        

Bring your own adequate eye & ear protection which must be worn by all shooters, officials and spectators during live firing.

COVID-19:         

New York state requirements will be followed including state travel restrictions.  Everyone will be screened at check-in.  Bring your own mask.

Scoring:    

The official score is kept by a referee on the field.  Decisions made on the field are final and may not be appealed after the score sheet has been delivered to the statistician.  After each round is completed, competitors should verify their score and initial the score sheet.  Score sheets are returned to the statistician upon completion of the course of fire.

Shoot-off: 

Ties are broken by the longest run, starting from the last shooting position.

Lunch:       

Will offered by a Scout unit.  Pre-Count via council website but pay at the event.

Prizes:        

Lewis Class System/Format will be used for Male & Female Adults and Combined Youth

Raffle:        

$5.00 per ticket for a Coleman Road-Trip Grill value of $250.00

$5.00 per ticket for a Frabill 2/3 Man Snow Shelter value of $350.00
