Paddle Craft Safety Training

Camp Scouthaven

9:00am – 4:00pm

This course will meet the requirements for Paddle Craft Safety and the American Canoe Association, Level I Flatwater Canoeing Requirements. Participants will experience both classroom and on the water training in various skills specific to the course requirements including safety, trip planning, paddling skills and more. 

Participants are asked to bring a bagged lunch, sunscreen, water and paddling clothes.

Minium age: 15 yrs old

Cost: $15 per person

Pre-Requisites:

• Current Safety Afloat Training (found online at my.scouting.org)
• Current Safe Swim Defense (found online at my.scouting.org)
• BSA Swimmer Level
