This unique event gives scouts the chance to dive into practical, rewarding fields, learn directly from industry professionals, and discover potential career paths or lifelong hobbies.Whether you are looking to master a new tool, understand how things work behind the scenes, or check off those hard-to-find requirements, this week is built for you.Why Attend?Professional Instruction: Learn from certified experts and tradespeople who bring real-world experience to the camp.Hands-On Experience: Move past the textbooksscouts will be actively working on projects, using tools safely, and building tangible skills.Rare Merit Badges: Take advantage of specialized trade badges that aren't always available at standard summer camps.Skills Trade Merit Badges OfferedAutomotive Maintenance: Get under the hood to learn the essentials of car care, including checking fluids, changing tires, and understanding how an internal combustion engine operates.Electricity: Discover how power flows from the grid to a home. Scouts will learn to wire basic circuits, understand control switches, and practice essential electrical safety. Metalwork: Introduce scouts to the properties of metals and to ancient and modern techniques for shaping them. They will explore technical processing, blacksmithing, or sheet metal work. Painting: Learn the practical skills of surface preparation, color selection, and applying finishes safely and cleanly to protect and beautify homes and structures.Surveying: Step into the field to learn how to use professional leveling and measuring instruments, map out boundaries, and understand the vital role surveying plays in engineering and construction.Truck Transportation: Explore the massive logistics industry that moves our economy. Scouts will learn about supply chains, diesel engines, federal regulations, and fleet safety.Welding: Learn the fundamentals of metallurgy, safety protocols, and how to permanently join metals using professional welding equipment.Woodwork: From reading blueprints to using hand and power tools safely, scouts will practice measuring, cutting, and joining wood to create a finished project.Registration Details: Parent Portal Enabled: Unit leaders can easily manage registrations or allow parents to log in directly to finalize bookings and make payments.Convenient Payment Options: We accept credit cards, electronic checks, and mail-in payments to keep the process seamless for your unit. Note for Leaders: A minimum payment is required at the time of booking.
