Scouting America partners with the NRA to offer training programs that prepare our leaders to supervise safe Range and Target Activities for our youth. 2025 training dates are:

• March 15 - NRA Range Safety Officer Training, $50
• April 5 - NRA Basic Rifle, $75
• April 6 - NRA Basic Shotgun, $95
• May 24  - NRA Rifle Instructor, $75
• May 25 - NRA Shotgun Instructor, $95
• June 21 - NRA Basic Pistol, $100
• June 22 - NRA Pistol Instructor, $100

Our courses are trained by qualified volunteer instructors at Camp Woodland. Classes run 8am-4pm. Participants much provide their own lunch.
