Join us for an exciting day of discovery and innovation at this year's Watson School STEM Merit Badge Fair, hosted by the Watson Combat Robotics League! Building on the success of previous event, we’re thrilled to offer an expanded lineup of merit badges that delve into the fascinating world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Scouts will have the opportunity to earn two merit badges—one in the morning and one in the afternoon—across a variety of engaging disciplines. Choose from offerings such as Electronics, Robotics, Digital Technology, Engineering, Aviation, Automotive Maintenance, Composite Materials, Space Exploration, and Programming. Each session is designed to ignite curiosity and inspire the next generation of inventors and problem solvers.

Whether you’re building circuits, programming robots, or exploring the fundamentals of flight, our experienced instructors will guide you through hands-on activities that promote teamwork and critical thinking.

Review the Class Catalog to view pre-requisites. Items marked as pre-requisites should be researched in advance, and Scouts should be record what they have learned, and prepare for a discussion on the requirements. Please review the full merit badge requirements to ensure that you are completing the appropriate number of pre-requisites for the requirement (i.e. Requirements stating a Scout should complete TWO of the following. All options have been listed as pre-requisites, but only two need be completed by the scout) Aviation Merit Badge has updated requirements as of 2025. An updated Merit Badge workbook has not yet been created. It is important to note that a Scout's mere presence will not result in earned Merit Badges. Scouts are expected to engage and paricipate in the circcula over the course of the day. A Scout who is not engaged and participating will not recieve a Merit Badge and will likely leave with incomplete requirements. A Scout who elects not to engage in discussions or requirements will not be refunded for their attendance.
