We hope that you, your unit leaders, parents, and older youth will join us for our One-Stop Day of Training at the March 21, 2020 University of Scouting.

Please note that we have tried to include a number of courses that will appeal to both adults and older youth, including current and prospective Den Chiefs — we hope that everyone will find something to interest them at our University.

We also call your attention to our First Period Roundtable.  The traditional opening ceremony will be extended to include a Keynote Speaker and a brief Roundtable of interest to all members of our Council.  We promise that it will be interesting, informative, and relevant..

We ask you to note that the Registration Deadline is March 13, 2020. We will accept walk-in registrations on the day of University, but we can't provide a lunch unless you register by March 13.

We also hope that you will help promote the University of Scouting by sharing news of this event with others – most of us attended our first University because someone invited us. A hardcopy of the course catalog can be easily downloaded from the website Training Page and shared with others.
 

The University of Scouting is for everyone involved in Scouting, not just direct Unit Leaders. Youth and their Parents will also benefit from our University: There are courses to develop leadership and planning abilities and to enhance scout skills. There is material to help parents better understand how a Unit works. Accurate and relevant knowledge can help move them into a broader role with your Unit. Attendance at University is an investment in your Unit's future, but it starts with a gentle nudge, a word of suggestion.
