“The Lord gives and the Lord takes away, but praised be the name of the
Lord.” ~Job, in the Christian and Jewish Bibles
In a year that so much has been taken away, so much has also been given.
One of the things that has been given is our modern technology, and how it
has allowed us to still connect with each other during a pandemic.
This year's “hike” will be done virtually. Those who register will receive
information for logging on to an interactive Zoom in which ten congregations
within the Baden-Powell Council will each introduce their congregation, and
discuss one of the Ten Commandments. You will have the opportunity to post
questions in the “chat” and we will answer those questions in between
presentations. There will also be a break half-way through to relax, stretch,
etc. We will be done in time for lunch; if you want to have an actual hike part
as a family, then feel free to go for a hike or walk that afternoon and discuss
what was learned during our event!
Thank you to the following congregations for volunteering to help put on this event:

Berean Bible Church, Cortland · Temple Brith Sholom, Cortland
