A module from the STEM/Nova Program of Boy Scouts of America
April 21st, 2021 at 6:00 PM
Wolf, Bear or Webelos Scouts,
Join us for a virtual meeting with the Carpenter's Brook Fish Hatchery, focusing on how science affects our everyday life.
Cost is $30 per scout and includes a STEM Nova patch or pii pin, an hour of program developed around this module.
The zoom link will be emailed to you the week of the event.
Registration deadline is April 16th, 2021.
There is one pre-requisite for this module:
1: Watch an episode or episodes (about an hour total) of a show anything related to science. Some examples include but are not limited to shows found on PBS (Nova), Discovery Channel, Science Channel, National Geographic Channel, TED Talks (online videos) and the History Channel.
Then do the following:
A. Make a list of at least two questions or ideas from what you watched.
B. Discuss two of the questions or ideas with your counselor.
Please send any pictures and work done prior to our module to your STEM/Nova Counselor, Stacy Hall stacy.hall@scouting.org
