Knights and Castles

a Winter Joust

Choose either

Camp Barton OR Dwyer Park

Registration is at 8.15 AM, Opening starts at 8:45 AM, Finale is at 4 PM.

Maximum of 9 patrols or 45 participants per venue.
Each patrol should bring it’s own wise wizard (i.e. adult leader).
Arrive a page, leave a “Knight of the Taughannock Roundtable”.

The event will include nine stations of forty minutes that test the skills and attributes of each page and determine whether they achieve knighthood. The day will include a variety of activities such as fire-building, pioneering, knot-tying, nature identification, science, orienteering, physical feats of skill, first-aid and the solving of situations requiring logical thought. Prior to the event, registered patrols will receive a list of materials to bring, as well as instructions for pre-event activities that will include the design and manufacture of a patrol flag or banner and a patrol steed!
