Join us for the 6th Annual Adult Pinewood Derby Competition of the Southern Tier!

As you may be aware, Beer Tree Brewing Company made the decision to voluntarily close at the request of Broome County Executive, Jason Garner, for residents to stay home for a week to curb the rising number of cases of COVID-19. While they anticipate reopening prior to the scheduled date for the PinTwood Derby, they have decided to not host any events at their facilities. It is because of this and out of an abundance of caution, the PinTwood Derby will go to a virtual event and be postponed until October 27th.

Due to this postponement we will be:

*Extending the registration deadline from this Friday, the 9th to next Thursday the 15th.

*Asking each participant to schedule a time to drop off cars and pick-up their pint glass & 4-pack on Monday the 19th or  Tuesday the 20th.

*Hosting an online “Race Party” on the 27th starting at 6:30pm which will showcase the races as well as announce the winners.

In the coming days, a member of our staff will reach out to each registrant to confirm receipt of this change and coordinate logistics with you. We understand that these changes aren’t what everyone anticipated when signing up for the race, so we will do everything in our power to be helpful and accommodating so that our virtual race is enjoyable for everyone!
