Join the Adventure: 2026 Scouting America National Jamboree - Elevate Your Scouting Experience! 

We are thrilled to announce that the Baden-Powell Council will be sending a contingent to the 2026 Scouting America National Jamboree! This event, themed "ELEVATE", embodies the spirit of growth, adventure, and reaching new heights, and we invite your Scout to be a part of this life-changing experience. 

The 2026 National Jamboree will be held from July 22 to July 31, 2026, at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia, welcoming over 20,000 Scouts from across the nation. Our council will be sending two troops: 

One all-male troop 

One all-female troop 

Each troop will consist of 18 Scouts and 2 adult leaders, creating a strong and united team ready for an incredible adventure. 

Why Attend the 2026 National Jamboree? 

Elevate Your Adventure: Experience a wide range of exciting activities, from zip-lining, rock climbing, and water sports, to participating in leadership programs and team-building challenges. 

National Community: Scouts will interact with peers from across the country, sharing in the fellowship and diversity that makes the Jamboree a unique celebration of Scouting. 

Leadership and Growth: The Jamboree will push your Scout to reach their highest potential, developing skills in leadership, teamwork, and personal responsibility. 

Unforgettable Memories: Whether it’s conquering the Titan Challenge or experiencing the Americana Extravaganza celebrating the USA's 250th birthday, your Scout will return home with memories that last a lifetime. 

What’s Included in the $2,500 Cost? 

Jamboree Fee: Covers program materials, meals, tents, and access to all Jamboree activities. 

Contingent Gear: Custom gear for our Scouts, including patches and daypacks. 

Pre-Jamboree Gatherings: Local meetups to bond with fellow contingent members before the Jamboree. 

Travel Costs: Round-trip transportation to and from the event. 

Special Memorabilia: Collect and trade patches, neckerchiefs, and more! 

Eligibility: 

To participate, Scouts must be: 

Currently registered in a Scouts BSA Troop or Venturing Crew. 

12 years old by July 22, 2026, and not yet 18 by the last day of the Jamboree.
