is back for another Great Summer Experience!  

3 Weekend Sessions :  

  • August 8-10     
  • August 15-17
  • August 22-24     

 

Badges at Barton is a weekend program designed for Scouts BSA youth who are eager to advance their Scouting journey while enjoying the outdoor experience at Barton. From Friday evening through Sunday morning, Scouts will camp and participate in a focused, fun, and educational program.

Program Highlights:

Choose Merit Badges the fit your interests – With a wide selection of badges in the outdoors, trades, citizenship, aquatics programs, and the arts, there’s something for every Scout to explore and achieve.

Two Nights at Camp – Enjoy the full Scouting camping experience with evening activities, campfires, and fellowship.

Flexible Badge Schedule – Merit badge sessions take place all day Saturday, allowing Scouts to select badges based on their interests and advancement needs.

Meals are Included - Meals will be provided Saturday through Sunday morning. Scouts should arrive on Friday having already eaten.

Experienced Counselors – Knowledgeable and enthusiastic merit badge counselors lead each session, ensuring Scouts receive high-quality instruction and guidance.

Who Should Attend:
Scouts BSA Youth / Registered Adults attending as part of their unit  or Scouts BSA Youth / Registered Adults attending as Provisional Campers** aside from their own unit.  **Provisional Campers/Adults are assigned to a Provisional Unit by the camp administration and provided  Adult Staff/Volunteer Leadership accordingly. 

What to Bring:
Personal camping gear (including your own tent), Scout essentials, completed prerequisites, merit badge workbooks (if available), and a good attitude ready for learning and adventure!

Bring Your Own Tent – All participants are expected to bring and set up their own tents.
