Archaeology Merit Badge

 

When: February 5, 2022 from 1:00-3:00 pm

This Badge will be AT Roberson Museum and Science Center and we will be using their Exhibits! Due to COVID-19, this class is limited to only 15 Scouts for the class. This merit badge class will be on Saturday February 5, 2022 from 1:00-3:00 pm.

The Class will cover the following Requirements: 2, 3, 5, 6, 7a, 10b, 11b.

Requirements not covered during the class are: Requirement 1, 4, 8, and 9.  For these requirements Scouts may write up Requirement 1 and 4a. 4b should be done and then the leader of the group should send a note to Chris.Ambra@scouting.org for verification.  Requirement 8 we reccomend speaking with a local university or school educator as a resource. For requirement 9, they may do either reqirement. ) These requirements may be done and pictures and write-ups submitted to the Council Program Director at Chris.Ambra@scouting.org anytime before the class or afterwards, until February 15.

After February 15, Blue Cards/Advancements will be released/mailed to Unit Leaders for In-Council Scouts and to the Scouts directly for Out-of-Council Scouts.

Cost: $40.00/Scout

Parents- Please note- Due to COVID-19 Restrictions, only registered Scouts will be able to enter the Museum. We cannot allow parents/family to accompany their Scouts because of the nature of the enclosed environment. Roberson Museum Educators and Council Professional Staff will be present inside during the presentation.

Scouts should wear their uniforms. Masks are required.
