Camp Barton Cub Adventure Weekend: Things That Go BOOM!

Get ready for a day packed with excitement! Cub Scouts will enjoy archery, obstacle courses, STEM projects, music, superhero challenges, games, and more! And, surprise..... A Pinewood Derby! Bring your car and race—or just come cheer on your friends. Judging categories include speed and artistic expression. No car? No problem! Everyone’s welcome.

Check-in: 8:15 AM

Program starts: 8:45 AM

Wraps up: After campfire, target end time is 7:30 PM

Cub Adventure Weekend Registration Fees

$30 – Youth ages 5+

$15 – Adults

Free – Kids 4 and under

Note: If you are only participating in the Pinewood Derby, there is a flat fee of $5. Lunch not included.

Your registration covers lunch and dinner on Saturday (meal details provided during sign-up).

Important Notes

Due to property access changes, we can’t hike to the falls or use the ranges/bouldering area. But don’t worry—archery is still on! And this year only, a new, fun target activity! 

Packs are encouraged to camp overnight either Friday, Saturday or both nights! Bring your own gear and enjoy a night under the stars. No BALOO-trained leader? We’ll help arrange one! (Email CAPS@TCScouts.org to coordinate.)

Medical Forms (Parts A & B) are required for all participants (adults included) and must be held by a unit representative at the event. Additional details will be shared with registation contacts prior to the event.
