Course Description:

A Den Chief is a Boy Scout, Venturer or Sea Scout assisting a Cub Scout den   This training is open to all current and prospective Den Chiefs, as well as adult leaders from Cub Packs and Scouts BSA Troops.

The objective of this course is to teach Den Chiefs and their adult leaders about:

1. The role and responsibilities of a Den Chief. 
2. Common characteristics of Cub Scouts and Webelos Scouts. 
3. The Den Chief's relationship to the adult den leaders, and how that relates to activities with the den. 
4. Conducting and leading age appropriate activities, games and learning opportunities for Cub Scout aged youth as assigned by their Den Leader.
