Lake George Camporee

Step back into the 1700s!

MAY 8-10
Thou historical weekend shall include:
- FULL DAY SATURDAY ACCESS TO FORT WILLIAM HENRY. Scouts will raise the morning flags at 8:30 AM, accompanied by a cannon boom!
- LAKE CRUISE! One-hour voyage with historical narration.
- The boat is currently full. You can still register for a lower-cost day pass (Fort and museum access, plus a patch).
- Due to higher numbers we have upgraded to the Lac Du Saint Sacrement.
- Cruise will be 3:30-4:30pm. Boarding at 3:15pm.
- If you already registered with the original option ($30 for Scouts, $25 for Cubs) then your boat ticket is already paid for and reserved. Call or email with any questions!
- Living history demonstrations at the Fort
- Hike up nearby Prospect Mountain for a view of the Lake! (optional; about 1 hour hike to the summit)
- Service project for the Battlefield Park
- Visit the Battleground History Museum
- Saturday night campfire!
Registration for all participants ends on May 5.
NO WALKS-INS CAN BE ACCOMODATED.
Troops will camp nearby at the Battleground Campground. Sites will be assigned early May. Your camporee fee already includes the campsite fee.
Troops will cook their own meals (or can walk to restaurants in the village if accompanied by 2-deep leadership).
Discount hotel rooms (starting at $150) available for those who so wish, at the adjacent Fort William Henry Hotel. Please contact us if interested.
