Fort Orange/ Yankee Doodle Winter Klondike Derby: Hunt for Gold

The Hunt for Gold Klondike is a challenge to test a patrol’s scouting skills and teamwork with the materials they bring along with them on their Klondike Sled. Troops field up to 8 scouts in each patrol, who record time for points at each event station. The patrols compete in several categories to win prizes and overall Klondike Champion.

Waldman Lodge will be open as a warming station with hot chocolate and ramen noodles. There is limited space inside Waldman Lodge, so Troops should plan on needing to make their own lunches outside with their sleds.

Early bird (for extra points) closes on Friday, January 23rd. Registration closes on Wednesday, January 28th.

Cost:

• $15 per youth (Check), $15.45 per youth (Credit Card)  includes an event patch
• $0 Adults are free! 
• $5 wants a patch (Check), $5.15 per Adult wants a patch (Credit Card)
