Welcome the first day of the new year with a winter hike around camp!  Join a staff guided hike or follow your own trail.  Scouts of all ages and their families and friends are welcome for this free event!

Unique guided hikes will be available for those who are interested.

Don't forget your water bottle.  All participants will receive a First Day Hike 2024 water bottle sticker! 

All participants are asked to register online to assist with event planning.

Camp will be open from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM for hikers.  Hot chocolate and soup will be available at the warming station, but participants should plan to bring their own snacks/lunch.  Please wear appropriate footwear and warm clothing appropriate for the conditions.
