What is Beaver Day?

Beaver Day is held every spring and fall to help advance projects at Camp Wakpominee 

and prepare the camp for seasonal use to enhance the experience of the Scouts, Scouters 

and Units we serve. Enjoy a warm cabin in the winter? That wood for the stove was likely 

cut, split and stacked at a Beaver Day. We have several projects this year including; camp 

site beautification, wood cleanup, building de-winterization, dock installations, pavilion 

preservation, chapel ridge repair, trail maintenance, building repairs and much more.
