CWAA Special Work Day Event

Event Details

The CWAA is hosting a special event workday for troops, camp alumni, and the great Wakpominee family. By common practice, the day will begin with work projects to support the camps growth and upkeep. Following an afternoon lunch, work will resume for a portion of the afternoon.

The CWAA recognizes the importance of summer fun and will be offering a modest afternoon program and encourages all participants to relax and enjoy “the Greatest Place on Earth”. Participants can enjoy the recreational areas or participate in the marquee event: the Iron Chef Competition. Following this recreational period, a cookout-style dinner will be served where the winner of the Iron Chef Competition will be announced, and all can wind down before departing for the evening.

In addition to aforementioned events, the CWAA will be hosting a lean-to dedication at the Algonquin site for long-time scouter Frank Kramer. All participants are welcomed to attend. For questions about specific projects, please contact Ranger Dan Krueger at Daniel.Krueger@scouting.org. For questions about programming, please contact Dave Cass at david.w.cass@gmail.com.
