Scout Skills & ILST @ Rotary Scout Reservation

Ready to build your leadership skills or work toward First Class? Join Troops 528 and 537 at Rotary Scout Reservation for a day of hands-on learning, service, and fun! - Lunch is provided for participants attending ILST and the daytime Scout skills activities.
Session 1: Scout Skills
Younger Scouts can practice knot tying, lashings, knife safety, citizenship, flag folding, and first aid. Cooking skills will include helping prepare the Friendsgiving feast.
Session 2: ILST
Older Scouts can participate in Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops (ILST). Training includes three 90-minute sessions, totaling 4.5 hours of classroom instruction, plus an afternoon service project and opportunities to teach younger Scouts.
Scout Leaders: Haven’t run ILST in a while?
Send your SPL or older Scouts and join them to see how we run it! Learn alongside your youth leaders, gather ideas, and take practical tools back to your troop to help deliver ILST at home.
This sign-up is for ILST and the daytime Scout skills activities only, hosted by Troops 528 and 537 as part of their Friendsgiving Campout and Training Weekend.
The full campout weekend is organized directly by the host troops. Units interested in attending the entire weekend should contact Tori Clark at tori25clark@gmail.com to coordinate.
