Grant's Cottage Tour for Scouts

Cubs, Scouts, and families!
Come tour Grant's Cottage in Gansevoort — the final home of Ulysses S. Grant, who was the Civil War Commanding General of the U.S. Army, 18th U.S. President, and beloved American public figure.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 16.
Includes cottage tour, visitor's center movie, museum, Morse Code challenge, tree identification, scavenger hunt, and guess-the-artifact. American Heritage Merit Badge will also be offered!
$5 per person.
Free for all veterans (but you must register for the event to attend).
Registration ends August 13.
Check in by 9:15 AM.
9:30 AM tours begin, rotating among different stations.
12 PM we'll eat in the group tent. Bring your own lunch. Carry in, carry out.
After lunch, those Scouts who sign up for American Heritage merit badge will meet with our counselor under the tent. Parking will be at the large lot behind the Cottage. Drive straight through the site to the rear lot near the tent.
