Looking to take your Troop on an overnight outing? Then this training is for you. Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills, teaches you the basics for taking your unit for overnight activities from types of equipment, knots, campsite selection, and everything in between. Every scout deserves a trained leader!

Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) is the required training for Cub Scout leaders who want to plan and lead Pack overnight camping experiences. This in-person course, combined with a required online pre-requisite, provides leaders with the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to deliver safe, fun, and age-appropriate Cub Scout camping.
