Event Details

JERSEY JAM DAY VISITORS

The day visitor package at the Jersey Jam will be held at The Fields at Waterloo in Allamuchy Township, New Jersey, at the intersection of Waterloo Road and Kinney Road. All Scouts in any program and their families are invited to attend.

Your experience will include parking and admission to the Jamboree activity and exhibit areas starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2019, until close of program at 5 p.m.  This package also includes admission to exhibits at historic Waterloo Village via a bus ride from the main activity field.

It is important to note that day visitors will not be able to participate in all Jamboree activities, which are designed for registered Scouts, age 11 and older who are spending their weekend at the event.  In addition, day visitors will not be able to visit the sub camps where Scouts will be staying for the weekend.

For the safety of everyone, all activities will follow age appropriate activities as defined by the Boy Scouts of America and can include other important minimum requirements such as height and/or weight.

The cost to attend as a day visitor at the Jamboree is $15 per person.  Youth under age 7 admitted free. Pre-registration is highly encouraged to streamline the check-in process and to better guarantee parking spots.

NOTICE: All individuals on the registration must check in together as a group. If your registration indicates 4 people and you show up with 3, the on-site list will show all 4 people redeemed entry. Carpooling is critical to reduce the number of spots needed.

ACTIVITY PARTICIPATION

It is important to note that day visitors will have a different experience than those guests joining us for the entire, 3 day, weekend at The Fields at Waterloo.  Day visitors will be able to arrive as early as 9:00 am and will be directed to park at the designated parking lot for day visitors. Program areas will open to day visitors at 9:00 am. Day visitors will only be able to visit the program areas and will not be allowed to visit the sub camps where Scouts will be staying for the weekend.  It is important to note that day visitors will not be able to participate in all Jamboree activities, which are designed for registered Scouts, age 11 and older who are spending their weekend at the event.  For the safety of everyone, all activities will follow age appropriate activities as defined by the Boy Scouts of America and can include other important minimum requirements such as height and/or weight.  Day visitors can bring their own lunch (do not bring glass) or purchase lunch from any on-site food truck.

A day visitor’s day will include:

1) Touring the Jamboree activities and exhibits

2) Visiting your favorite Scout or unit in the program or exhibit areas

SECURITY

Upon arriving to the Jamboree, visitors will need to pass through a security checkpoint before they enter the Jamboree.  Each day visitor will be given a colored wristband.  Day visitors must be accompanied by an adult for the full duration of the visit.  All day visitors will be escorted off the property immediately following the close of program at 5:00 PM.
