2018 Webelos Resident Camp
2018 Webelos Resident Camp is an overnight camp for boys entering grades 4 or 5 in September - and their parents or adult leaders. Winnebago Scout Reservation, located in the hills of Rockaway NJ, is the setting for this Webelos resident camping experience. The staff always puts on an incredible program!
Webelos Resident Camp is a great opportunity for Scouts to work on Webelos and Arrow of Light advancement.
Webelos Resident Camp provides a natural bridge from Cub Scouting to the many activities in Boy Scouting. The boys and adults sleep on camvas cots in wall tents on platforms. Everyone will enjoy great food in our dining hall. The camp has fluch toilets and a shower house. Evenings are spent around the campfire with songs and skits.
During their stay at camp, Scouts have fun with BB guns, archery, waterfront activities (swimming, boating, and fishing), handicrafts, Scoutcraft, ecology, sports, games, batting cage, hikes, and more. We even have a few special programs for he adults, including a ride on our dual 1,000-foot zip lines over Durham Pond.
Scouts must have adult supervision. Scouts can come with a parent, unit leader, or under unit leadership. For those Scouts without adult supervision, the camp can provide adult supervision for an additional cost.
