Watchung Cub Scout Day Camp is for boys going into 2nd through 5th grade. The camp is nestled in the scenic 1,945 acre Watchung Reservation in Mountainside, NJ.  Watchung Cub Scout Day Camp has been providing a high quality camp program for over thirty five years. Bus transportation is provided from locations throughout Union, Somerset, SE Morris, Essex, and Middlesex counties.

Join us this summer for a Medieval Quest. Each week will focus on a different weekly adventure. We are continuing to improve your favorite programs and we will have a few new surprises too.

Advancement Opportunities - In addition to all of the summer fun, camp is a place where Cub Scouts can work on advancement requirements for their next rank.

Camp operates for six weeks from July 2nd through Aug 10th 2018. The hours are Monday to Friday 8:45 am - 4:00 pm. Come for one or more weeks!  We offer an action packed day with lots of fun and some learning too. Watchung Cub Scout Day Camp stresses Scouting values and provides a fun and safe summer program for boys. Our experienced staff are all youth protection trained. We maintain a staff to camper ratio of 1:4 or better.

Save the week of July 4th! - Camp is closed on the 4th of July.  Join us for a short week and come to camp for as little as $269.

Our new Wildflower Day Camp is held at Watchung Reservation at the same time and location as our Cub Scout day camp. Girls are divided into groups of 6-10 with no more than 2 groups per session. A minimum of 6 girls is required for the program to run - a waitlist will be available if we exceed capacity. Girls participate in summer camp activities customized for the Wildflower camp. The girls travel in groups to our varied program areas including fishing, archery, cooking, climbing and a giant waterslide for cooling off on a hot day. Wildflower Day Camp is the perfect camp for siblings of Cub Scouts attending Watchung Cub Scout Day Camp as well as any girls entering grades 2-5 in the fall.
