University of Scouting

Times: Check-In: 8:00 am
Opening Ceremony: 8:30 am
Classes Start: 9:00 am
Closing Ceremony: 3:20 pm

Registration: Registration closes February 26th for everyone.

Early Registration Cost: $35.00 per person, for the day. 

Regular Registration Cost: $45.00 per person, for the day.

Program Launch Registration: FREE (registering for the Program Launch does not get you a seat in a UoS classes)

We cannot accommodate late registrations or walk ins. 

PROGRAM LAUNCH: During University of Scouting, we will also be offering opportunity to visit our Program Launch tables (formally known as the Tradeshow of Scouting). Program Launch will run between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm. This is a free event. But, keep in mind, registering for the Program Launch does not get you a seat in a UoS class. 

Scouts BSA and Venturers may attend the U of S if they are taking courses as youth leaders/potential youth leaders. NO children are allowed in the classrooms, except Scouts BSA and Venturers taking courses. Childcare will NOT be available at this event.

Participants attending Cub Leader Position-Specific Training at the University of Scouting will receive an automatic $25 discount off registration fees. The discount will appear at check out.

The Event Class Catalog is a list of all the classes offered with the description of each. It is divided in the 4 types of classes offered: General, Cub Scout, Advancement, Scouts BSA/Venturing, and Scouting with Special Needs.

STAFF NOTES:  If you are on staff, you need to register, even if you are not taking any classes. You must also complete the registration by completing the checkout process to be registered. You must pay for a lunch if you are ordering one.
