New Member Champion Kick-Off & Trainings

Patriots' Path Council invites Cub Scout Packs, Scouts BSA Troops, Venturing Crews, and Sea Scout Ships to attend our New Member Champion Kick-Off & Training Event. This interactive session is designed to equip unit leaders and volunteers with the tools, resources, and best practices needed to welcome new families, improve member retention, and create a positive onboarding experience for every youth and parent joining Scouting. Recent information from surveys provided by the Scouting America show that ease of joining and the first 60 days determines families joining and staying, we want to help with all the information.

Participants will learn:

• The role and responsibilities of a Unit New Member Coordinator
• Resources available through Patriots' Path Council and Scouting America
• Proven strategies for welcoming and engaging new families
• How to build a seamless joining and onboarding process
• Techniques for increasing youth retention and family involvement
• Best practices from successful units across the council
