Welcome to Camp Winnebago 

Unit and Individual Camping

Scouts BSA Resident Camp – Winnebago’s  programs are first rate! Our Dan Beard program for first-year campers gets rave reviews. Merit badges have small classes with lots of personal attention. Our experienced dedicated staff is always at your service and ready to assist your troop with any special needs including in-camp and offsite adventures.

Provisional Camp Troop is a resident camp for Scouts who can’t go to summer camp with their troop or want more weeks at camp. Choose to work on advancement and merit badges, or just have fun at camp. We provide adult leaders with many years of Scoutmaster experience.

Specialty Camps - Resident

Week 3 - Graphic Arts Camp - July 20-26, 2025

Spend a week a summer camp developing your Graphic Art skills by earning four merit badges!  During the week you will focus on graphic art as well as enjoying all the fun available at camp! 

  • Graphic Design, Composite Materials (3D design), Drafting, and Game Design

Week 4 - Skills & Trades Camp - July 27-August 2, 2025

With a focus on learning the trades, Scouts will spend the week learning from experts, including the Flintlocks. Earn four merit badges!

  • Automotive Maintenance, Electricity, Plumbing and Welding.

Our Summer Camp programs gives you the opportunity to:

  • Earn merit badges while learning new skills
  • Do some great fishing on our ponds
  • Stargaze with our ecology staff
  • Eat at our dining hall - food service is fantastic!
  • Swim in the lake and try the water obstacle course
  • Try canoeing, kayaking and sailing.
  • Zip across Durham Pond on our 1200 foot zipline and then complete the canopy tour before zipping back!
  • Cook your own meal one evening in your campsite
  • Win our camp wide cooking contest
  • Develop teamwork and leadership skills
  • Enjoy a nice hot shower 24 hrs a day in our clean shower and bath house.  There are plenty of flush toilets and individual shower stalls.
  • Learn Tenderfoot through First Class Scout skills at our first year camper Dan Beard program
  • The Thomas A. Pepe Camping Scholarship was created to help families that need financial  assistance with camp costs.  To apply online, complete the short application at https://247scouting.com/forms/358-scholarship.
