Patriots’ Path Council AOL Roundtable – Making the Transition Stick

Did you know that Scouts who attend summer camp are significantly more likely to stay in Scouting long-term?
To help ensure a strong start in their new troop, Arrow of Light (AOL) Scouts should ideally cross over by February or March. This gives them time to bond with their new troop and prepare for summer camp.
But…
- How can we complete the AOL program by February?
- Can Scouts cross over early and still enjoy pack events?
- What collaboration is needed between packs and troops?
Join us this August for a special roundtable designed to answer these questions and more.
What to Expect
Led by Michelle Blanchfield, Fishawack District Cub Scout Roundtable Commissioner and District Membership Chair, and supported by council and district leaders, this session will provide:
- A month-by-month roadmap to complete the AOL year by February
- Best practices for effective crossovers and troop integration
- Ideas for cooperative planning between packs and troops
- Strategies to retain Scouts through summer camp and beyond
